Welcome to Burghfield Squash Club

      Squash Open Day

       Saturday 11th May from 3pm
   Coaches and Volunteers available to demonstrate basics
   Rackets, Balls and Safety Glasses Provided

   Just turn up with appropriate clothing and a pair of trainers
   No previous experience is required

   Main Club will be open for teas, coffees etc

We are . . .

  • Burghfield Squash Club (BSC) which is a part of the Burghfield Community Sports Association (BCSA) and we are located on their 15 acre site in Berkshire, between Burghfield and Grazely. We have been here as a squash club since the 1980s.
  • BCSA itself was formed in 2009 when the members were given the opportunity to take over the running of what had previously been the Reading Civil Service Sports Association.

Burghfield Squash Club . . .

  • runs its own internal box leagues. These work on a six-weekly cycle.
  • We are England Squash Affiliated.
  • We are active in the Berkshire County squash leagues and our teams participate in the main Berkshire league as well as the Veterans and Thames Valley Business League competitions.
  • Our Club Night takes place every Saturday from 17.30 to 19.30. This is an informal “turn up and play” session and is open to all members of all standards.

Burghfield Community Sports Association . . .

  • is a community based sports and social club with membership open to all
  • provides the club facilities for the Football, Bowls and Squash (BSC) sports sections
  • has great social facilities including two bars, a snooker room and a large ballroom and stage
  • The ballroom and bars can be hired for your social functions and are capable of hosting several hundred people
